Litter and Wildlife Day Camps

Come join us at Fraser River Heritage Park for our
Litter and Wildlife Day Camps!

Register your child between the ages of 6-12 to learn about living safely alongside wildlife and how to keep our environment clean.

These one-day camps will provide your children with the knowledge and skills to safely maintain our communities and parks and how to live harmoniously alongside the wildlife we find there.

These camps are run by our team at Mission Environmental Stewardship Society alongside other community experts. During the camps children will have the opportunity to get involved in activities which test their knowledge about wildlife and environmental management. The camp consists of a walk through the trails to show children first-hand what they might encounter there and the appropriate measures to take. Other activities include a scavenger hunt, jeopardy, arts and crafts, and a picnic lunch.

Campers will receive:

  • A litter pick-up bag and tongs

  • Anti-litter activity book

  • WildSafeBC information booklet
